I replaced cedar shingles with GAF Grand Sequoia asphalt shingles. My roof is beautiful! I have had so many compliments.Working with Don and Jerod was easy, professional, and a pleasure. I received 7 roof quotes for my project and decided to go with Cougar Roofing. They are top tier GAF roofing contractors so the work they perform is covered by them as well as by the manufacturer. I had lots of questions during the bid process and Don took the time to respond to them all. He made a few additional trips during the bid process to provide documents, samples and answer questions.During the replacement, his team was professional and dedicated. They showed up before I left to work and were there long after I returned, they kept the area clean and were very respectful. The roof looks great. I can’t say enough about our experience.The roof is exactly what I was hoping for!

Don and Jerod were very informative in helping me understand why my roof was in such bad condition after only 15 years since the last replacement. There was a bad moisture problem exacerbated by poor ventilation and they explained what needed to be done to first correct the problem, then prepare the roof before laying the shingles. Their four man crew arrived promptly and went right to work. The three day job re-roofing my home and my shop went very quickly and efficiently. They did a thorough cleanup each evening before they left for the day. The new roofs turned out beautifully. I was kept in the loop throughout the job so there were no surprises when I received the final invoice. I will be recommending Cougar Roofing to my neighbors. Dale Carrington

This company did an excellent job! They installed our original roof 28 years ago and we have had no problems whatsoever. We decided to use them again and they did an excellent job again. The crew is friendly and efficient and the owners were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Thanks so much!

Best experience with a contractor/roofer ever!!!! Best bid out of 5 bids, too!!! Quality at a great price: I'm grateful that I found them. This is a family run business that gave us excellent customer service, made sure we were happy with the plan, came and installed the roof in two days, did a final inspection, and we have a beautiful, quality roof!!!!! I couldn't be happier!!!!!

Very responsive and just overall kind, helpful, people. The owners went out of their way to help me after we paid our down payment and then my husband suddenly died. They returned my deposit without hesitation until I was ready to go forward with the roof. They even gave me a ride to a service station when my car had an unexpected problem. They helped with little things afterward too, to make it perfect. I really just appreciated how patient and empathetic they were, and also how much they value their employees and treat them well too. It shows. The only of color they recommended is beautiful and they even painted the vent stack on the roof to coordinate. Can’t say enough good things about Cougar Construction and Roofing!

At initial contact a meeting was scheduled within a day or two. As I talked to Don on the GAF system, Jared was on the roof taking measurements. Within 2 days I had a written bid. I spent the next week gathering other bids and figuring out what I really wanted. I talked to them several times to clarify and make adjustments to the bid which I received the same day or next. At the same time I had 2other GAF certified bids that I had changed so all 3 contractors were bidding on the exact same roof. Cougar Construction and Roofing was by far the best and I got "good" feelings about Don and Jared. At bid acceptance work was scheduled approximately 30 days later. They week before I was contacted and told the schedule would slip by a few days. By the end of that week it was confirmed that materials would be delivered Tuesday and work would begin on Wednesday. On Wednesday a 4 person crew arrived just before 8 am and Don and Jared at 8 am. They reviewed requirements for the roof and work began. The crew was totally awesome!! The teamwork was totally amazing, it was like 1 guy with 8 arms. It was a fluid ballet that was amazing to watch. The roof was done at 7 pm and they spent the next 30 minutes cleaning up the yard including 4 passes around the house and yard by each crew member. I have only found a couple staples in really odd places since. I have already recommend Cougar Construction and Roofing to 4 other people and need to get more business cards to pass out. I absolutely recommend them for a roof!!
